Decided to stick around the hometown for an additional day, which was smart, as I ran into a gazillion (okay, four) people with whom I’d been meaning to chat. Cleaned room for possible Spring Break guests and failed to roust younger brother from the living room couch, so had to scrounge around for an outlet in my actual bedroom. (Related: There is a top of my desk. Who’d’ve thought?)

aka Who are these people? If you’re interested in “solving” your addiction to online things (cough*facebook*cough), check it out. Dunno what you’re supposed to do when you’re not online, but apparently people have been doing that for years. Weird.

Ew. Makes me kind of glad that I’m only addicted to TV shows that finished (West Wing you beautiful thing full of witty dialogue). Anyway, the cable and network companies are butting heads, and then arguing with the cable providers (Time Warner especially). And, like a small child in a divorce dispute, the people getting really hurt are you, the cable consumers. Maybe this would be a good time to go cable-free?
If you haven’t heard about the proposed death-penalty for homosexuals in Uganda, you’ve probably been living under a rock. Apparently Uganda is all fired-up about homosexuality, possibly due to the “conference” that three major American anti-homosexual evangelists held in Uganda awhile ago. Read the article.
